Hard working people. The owner is one of the most knowledgeable and always willing to help and make things right. We spend tremendous amount of money on flowers and being loyal customers to Bay State in Benford for few years. As always, you will have bad apples, but if you raise a concern, you will be heard. You need to know your flowers.

Alberto’s behavior toward my mother has been extremely disappointing and concerning. My mother has been a loyal customer here for several years. She is a kind, respectful woman who comes in with the intention of purchasing multiple roses, especially for Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day. She supports this business consistently. Unfortunately, every time she has to interact with Alberto, he treats her with a nasty and dismissive attitude. What makes this even more upsetting is that he is a Latino, Spanish-speaking man himself, yet he treats Spanish-speaking Latino customers poorly. I have personally witnessed him being warm, patient, and kind to white customers, while speaking to my mother rudely. During her most recent visit, he spoke to her disrespectfully, stayed on his phone while she was asking questions, and ignored her. He made comments to other employees suggesting she was “clueless,” simply because she does not fully understand English. He even walked away mid-question and told her, “Next time you need me, find me in the kitchen,” which felt completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Love coming to Baystate! They go above and beyond to try and meet your needs. What a great group of people over there- that are knowledgeable, and friendly. My Job as a florist wouldn't be as good as it is without them!

Friendly service for wholesale florists. They sell flowers, plants, hard goods and do custom orders when emailed in advance.

Stopped here looking to purchase a single rose to give to mom as she passes...they don't do that here but....the amazing man behind the counter gave us 25 beautiful purple roses with his condolences. AMAZING doesn't even begin to cover what he did! You sir are an angel here on earth! Thank you so much!
